The main body of the cartoons were made for high school chemistry textbooks. They were meant to depict abstract principles. In making these cartoons I combined my drawing skills with my background as a chemist. A couple of drawings merely act as a manual for laboratory procedures.
The Adam/Eve cartoon was a cover illustration for Chemisch2Weekblad.
